The USB Digital I/O Commander provides a simple yet powerful means of interfacing your computer to the outside world, allowing your PC to set digital outputs and/or read digital inputs. The strength of the Commander is its ability to generate any combination of five different notification events when input signals change state. For instance, you can specify that an e-mail message is sent to a designated recipient when bit #12 changes to a high state. You could also indicate that a pop-up message appear on the monitor and/or a sound file is played. Version 3.0 uses a different USB I/O interface card than prior versions.
